We do this by combining strong-minded, thoughtful men and women who are based in Belgium, with roots, family or other connections and ties to Southern African countries.

Meet our Members & friends

 Our members are good-standing, law-abiding professionals, tradeswomen and independent artisans. Many of us arrived in Belgium through employment and have since integrated well and actively contributing to the economy and society. However, we've seen the struggles of other less fortunate families who are struggling in Belgium and our home countries. 

 This moved us to TAKE ACTION & MAKE A DIFFERENCE TOGETHER!

How and what can I donate?

You can easily donate directly to our charity account or contact us for more information.

We appeal for and accept donations in the form of contributions, non-perishable food items, shoes and clothes of any size. 

We are also always happy to receive heartfelt suggestions or the gift of time to volunteer for our good causes! 

New members are welcome for a small annual membership fee. 

How can I become a volunteer?

New members are all welcome. There is a small annual membership fee of €30 (may increase as needed to facilitate the smooth running of the club).

Our main objectives are to provide essential assistance, promote community engagement and raise awareness of important issues for a better society.

Location

SAWC Belgium & friends registered location is Antwerp in Belgium. 

Our roots and branches go to various other municipalities where our members are located, and as far and wide as the African continent based on our origin and partnerships.

SAWC Belgium & friends is a charity registered in Antwerp, Belgium and with branches in various municipalities through our members (eg Aalst, Bekkevoort, Lede, Tervuren). We have roots to multiple African countries based on our origin by birth (eg Botswana, eSwatini, South Africa, Uganda, Zimbabwe).

Our mission is to bring people together and inspire positive change through charity work and awareness.
